Recommended Print Settings
Like all silk filament, dual color silk needs a higher nozzle temperature and lower speed. Start with these settings and adjust to your results. A generic silk profile is a good starting point in most slicers.

Perimeter speed: Slower than 60 mm/s. Slower speeds give a glossier finish and stronger layer adhesion. With settings tuned well, successful prints at 200 mm/s are possible.

Nozzle temperature: Start at 220°C. Best range is 200-230°C.

Part cooling: Silk needs good cooling to avoid surface defects and warping, but cooling too fast weakens layer adhesion. Find the balance for your printer.

Top and bottom infill patterns: Concentric and monotonic give the most dramatic, beautiful look.

Spool and filament routing: Route the filament to the extruder and hot end without twists or kinks, ideally under constant tension.
Please Note: Silk filament, in general, has weaker layer adhesion because of the additive that makes it shiny. It is better for aesthetic parts than for structural parts.
